Behave'n is committed to providing early intervention services to children with severe or chronic behavior problems. The goal of the founders Janie and Roger Peterson is to assist and support the success of children at home, at school and in the community.

The Behave'n program centers on the belief that the parent(s) is an important component to the success of his or her child. Each parent is the ultimate expert in his or her child, so the Behave'n staff relies on parental expertise to discover approaches and techniques that will work best with each child.

Each parent works closely with a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) to develop an Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) unique to each child accepted into the program. This ITP serves as the basis for the child's treatment and is a starting point used for evaluation of progress. Behave'n Day Center, Inc. is an open center. Parents are welcome anytime their child is in attendance.

ON-CALL SUPPORT
Behave'n Day Center offers 24-hour on-call availability to help parents if they have questions or if things become stressful at home.

LIFETIME SUPPORT
The goal of Behave'n is for children and their families to be successfull after services are no longer necessary. Each child who graduates from Behave'n and his or her parent have a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP. Parents are encouraged to call anytime to connect with follow-up community services.
