Lindsay Stanley, BCBA, LMHP
Director of Operations
Lindsay is a Nebraska Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and a Nebraska Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She graduated with a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis from St. Cloud State University. Over the past 10 years she has facilitated support for families and children with autism and behavioral challenges. Lindsay is a Lincoln, Neb., native. She and her husband, Jeremy, are parents of two girls.
Carlee Petersen, MS, LMHP, NCC
Clinical Director – Elkhorn
Carlee is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and is trained and practicing Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Carlee graduated with her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2013 and her Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Psychology with a minor in sociology from Creighton University in 2009. Carlee has obtained experience working with adults and children in the hospital setting, in home, and in the clinic setting. Carlee enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Batman.
Ryan Leisy, MA, MEd, LIMHP
Clinical Director – Lincoln
Ryan is a Nebraska Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and a Licensed Professional Counselor. He earned a Master of Education Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Arts Degree in General Psychology from the University of Louisville. Ryan specializes in behavioral interventions, but also practices as a Certified Parent Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT). Over the past five years, he has helped hundreds of families and children with a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns while working at Behaven Kids through direct and indirect services. Ryan, and his wife Taryn, have lived in the Lincoln area for nearly six years and have a son named Rylan.
Caitie Jacobs, LMHP, NCC
Clinical Director – Omaha
Caitie Jacobs is currently a Licensed Mental Health Professional and a Nationally Certified Counselor. Caitie graduated from both Creighton University and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling. Over the last five years, Caitie has worked as an adult and child therapist in Phoenix, Arizona and Omaha, Nebraska. Caitie has experience working with issues such as Parenting, Behavior Disorders, Autism, ADHD, Substance Abuse, Crisis Intervention, Grief and Loss, and Relationship Counseling.
Caitie is married and loves to travel with her husband, Pat. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with friends and family and going on motorcycle rides.
